Contributors should publish only material they have the right to share and should provide accurate source information where attribution is appropriate.
If your concern involves a specific published Code Card, use the card's Report action and choose Copyright / source concern.
Include enough information for staff to identify the disputed material and understand the concern.
Useful information includes:
the Code Card ID or public page
a description of the original work or source
why you believe the material is unauthorized or incorrectly attributed
what correction or action you believe would resolve the issue
If the concern cannot reasonably be tied to one specific card, signed-in users can submit a private bug report with the relevant URLs, IDs, and details.
Reported material may be restricted or removed while it is reviewed.
Source credit alone does not establish permission to redistribute material, and missing attribution alone does not automatically prove infringement.
