Code Card uses several labels to describe the current state of a card.

  • Published means the card is visible in the Public Library.

  • Private draft means the card is visible only to its owner.

  • Tested by owner means the contributor recorded that they tested the current code/runtime combination. This is an owner attestation and is not independent verification.

  • Verified means a moderator approved the current code/runtime combination.

  • Needs re-verification means a previously verified card changed in a way that makes the earlier verification no longer current, or a moderator requested changes.

  • Unverified means there is no active moderator approval for the current version.

  • Report pending review means a community report has been submitted and is waiting for moderator review. A report by itself is not a finding.

  • Under moderation review means a moderator is actively reviewing the card.

  • Restricted means moderator action currently prevents public access.

These labels describe workflow state. They are not a guarantee that code is safe or appropriate for every environment.
